Was at highpoint this evening on the way home out of highpoint my boat trailer tire and wheel came off almost flipped my truck henrys towing said some loosened my lugs on my trailer so now its in my garage calling sheriff tomorrow and my friend at highway patrol going to get fender well finger printed, I hope who ever did this has finger prints on file. Luckily I had straps on back of my boat or I might've not even been around to post this. Whoever did this to me you ruined my fishing season since I can't afford a new axle for my trailer along with new rims. However the sheriff's dept. Will be patroling highpoint now. I have kids and a wife, im glad they were not with me.I have done nothing to make someone so mad to do this. Guys check your lugs before you leave. I have taken OAF sticker and others off my truck. I am so upset I dont even care to fish now. Its pretty sad someone does this. I had the flat bed driver look at my hub and the threads were not even stripped. Could have cost me my life. I went off the road, and to be honest I think god carried me to safety.

This is the 2nd time recently that I have heard of this. Guess I will have to get in the habit of checking lugs, hitch pin, etc every time I get back to the ramp. What a shame...

are ok. All the material goods can be replaced. 2 years ago i was putting on at Crabtree Cove and a guy

was pulling off the ramp and told me to be careful. Somebody had dumped a bunch of wood screws in the

water on two of the ramps. There are a lot of morons in this world!! Take a look at Baltimore today!!

Better lock your trailer too...it might not be there after a day of fishing. We all need to br vigilant.
