Feathers and Fins Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 12 bridge ramp 30 minutes ago https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnF52 Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 12 bridge ramp is under water so are the first set of parking spots at it. estimating 2ft to 2.5 from bottom girder on the bridge This quick rise means lots of debris and large logs in the water. Hopefully, most boaters will realize that fact and slow down. I would be hesitant to exceed 15 mph on the water right now. A wind direction change can bring huge rafts of partially submerged debris off the banks, and some of it is difficult to spot in rough water until you are nearly on top of it. There might be lots of equipment damaged today.
Feathers and Fins Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Oh I got a video a bit ago, they aint slowing down. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnF52 Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Oh I got a video a bit ago, they aint slowing down. What can anyone say? Not slowing down is plain stupid.
Feathers and Fins Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Only reason they slowed down is the figured out they were not going to fit under 12 bridge Amery 1 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
JohnF52 Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 F&F, Can you see if the mud line has passed 12 bridge?

Stump bumper Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 COE opening the flood gates a 1/2 foot at noon today. Plus full generation. About time, full generation for the past two days would have prevented a lot of damage. But they can't see the rain coming.
Quillback Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 COE opening the flood gates a 1/2 foot at noon today. Plus full generation. Dang I just missed it, was over at the dam at 1030 and the gates were not open.
