trythisonemv Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Crane is fine right now slightly cloudy water with overnight rain chances at eighty percent it'll rise a bit but only light showers tomorrow so could be real good day. Those trout are hard to sneak up on so light rain will help Utah 1
timsfly Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Looked good this morning Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
Members Utah Posted May 14, 2015 Members Posted May 14, 2015 I was there this morning. Conditions were great. Caught a few on a bead head pheasant tail nymph. The fish spook real easily. I found if I approach the holes coming downstream I have better luck than I do coming upstream and casting over them. Really fun little river!
Members crkoester Posted May 20, 2015 Author Members Posted May 20, 2015 Anyone got a current update on Crane? Went to Norfork last week instead. Chris
timsfly Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Just there, this afternoon, it's in good shape at the moment Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
Members crkoester Posted May 20, 2015 Author Members Posted May 20, 2015 That place must be pretty runoff-proof. How's it fishing? Chris
timsfly Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Fished good, fished an hour, caught 3, we got some rain, but not that much, it takes a lot of rain to screw up crane creek. Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
2sheds Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Any guess if it would be worth a trip on Tuesday or Wednesday ?
Johnsfolly Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Any one know how the creek is flowing today? running muddy, just high and cloudy? Any observations would be helpful. Been thinking about a trip down that way after the 4th, but want to get some opinions before making a commitment to the trip. Thanks.
