Bull Shoals Smallmouth Report

Fished the Trimble Creek area for the last week. I caught mostly smallmouth up to 17" out on the main lake flats in 15 to 25 foot of water. The only consistent bite was on soft plastic crawfish baits. Keep the bait on the bottom and drag it as if crawling on the bottom. Best fishing I've seen in quite a while.

red you say, makes sense, I noticed that on the pics Ham posted on his last report, those fish were just starting to "see red"

the spots I have been catching the past few weeks have "fire" in their eyes too, good time to throw something with red in it

That color is also very good on TR. Yum used to make it in the crawbug, was a good bed bait.
