When they do move into the brush, I like to pull out the frogs. I fish them a little different using a weighted hook keeping them scooting through the mud. I brought this up on a bass fishing web site one time and everyone said that was the wrong way to fish a frog, that I should throw a jig. But watching the frogs on Beaver when they jump into the water they head straight for the silt leaving a black trail,, so that is the way I fish them. They are much better at pulling through brush than jigs and I am not a good flipper so there, that is my tactic for flooded brush.

Stumpy that is a great tactic, the other one is just wait a month or two for the Hoppers to show up then throwing out something small that floats under trees or brush will fill a live well full of Spots. Not to mention put a few jugs out loaded with the hoppers and clean up on the blue cats.
