Members ARangler Posted June 2, 2015 Members Posted June 2, 2015 Water temp was around 75 3-4 ft of visabilitly. Started of on a deep point with a drop shot boated about 10 with 3 keepers all spots, moved to another point holding the boat in about 35 ft of water caught only one fish which was a keeper 18 1/2 inch walleye, decided for the rest of the evening we where going to stick it out shallow and try to catch some big largemouth. 1rst pocket we went in caught 4 with 2 keeps and 2 mised blow ups on a Horny toad and the 2 of the 4 came flipping a trick worm, hit several other pockets with fish missing my frog. So I figured I would try something a little slower that they could key in on like a Sammy, next stretch of bank we hit we caught 8 keepers all on a walking bait, with the biggest pushing 6, best 5 all came right before dark and would have weighed about 15 pounds. Best evening I have had in a while. magicwormman, Squirrel Fishin', Codywskeeter1521 and 2 others 5

Bass Enforcer Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 I was down on memorial day. I did not see much of a top water bite in the dam area. Is it starting to turn on near the dam. And great report. Sounds like a productive evening.
