The show lost major eye candy with Margery in the church klink. I wish that would change.

Are we done with the Ironborn? Now that Stannis has faced the chop, chop. Will they be a gathering dragon glass at Dragonstone? Is the Onion Knight a free agent now?

Ironborn? depends on if you subscribe to Dario being one.

I think Sam will somehow get the glass from Dragonstone,

Davos, is a free agent apparently.

But again I will say it VARYS is not targaryen friendly... Notice how he showed up at the perfect time. Note he was with Tyrion when Jorah (who was a littlebird of Varys in a way) finds and dwarf-naps him. Varys is there after the Harpy attack.

I'll hide and watch on the Varys deal. I don't have a good feel on that deal.

My wife is center hung on the switching of the scene away from Brutus chopping Strannis's head off. She thinks that because they did not show it that Stannis may somehow still be alive. I don't think so.

Ham even with the major departures from the book, I saw the set-up for Jamie being called Daddy, His daughter being killed, Stanis meeting She Hulk, Arya killing King Pedo and Cersie lying about Jamie AND Certainly saw Dario and Capt- Friendzone going to find Dany as well as Tyrion taking over for Sir Barristan. Those I hate to say it but were telegraphed.

Some of it is knowing the books and just drawing the conclusions based off where the show was going. Now we are caught up with "Most" the story-lines it should be a good season 6, If GRRM releases the book before season im debating not reading it so I can enjoy the show.

Now the great experiment will happen, If a Author allows a show to run before the books are done will it kill his book sales?

I think that I read, somewhere, that GRRM wasn't going to finish the books. In an interview, he said that he was going to let the HBO writers finish the storytelling with some of his guidance.

Since Myrcella was killed, in the books, in a story line that had nothing to do with Jamie, I don't think we will see anymore of her.

It's too convenient to have the Red Witch at Castle Black for Jon Snow not to be brought back to life. So, we'll see him next season.

I, also, think that Tyrion will show how well he managed the realm in Danni's absence and she will reward him accordingly, by keeping him as her counselor.

I will be really surprised if Tommen dies before he meets Danni and her dragons. (Tyrion always liked Tommen). I do think that Tommen will get Margery back and there will be a reckoning between her and Cersie.

Regarding Arya, wasn't she blinded for a spell, in the book? I think it is all part of the path to the many faced way of life and will be revealed next season.

In the books, Sam and family left Castle Black along with Aegon and another crow and they wound up meeting Arya. So, I suspect that Sam and family will meet Arya and inform her of Jon Snow's status.

There is still a lot that can happen with Bran and Rikkon and it will be interesting to see how that will play out. I suspect that Sansa and Theon will meet up with BreAnne of Tarth and begin another story line that may wind up finding Rikkon and bolstering an army of Northerners behind them and they will take over Winterfell.

In the long run, I think that Danni and Jon Snow will become allies, at the least, and maybe love interests. This will bring the Dragons into play and lots of Dragon Glass and Valerian Steel weapons will be forged to fight off the White Walkers. However, it'll probably take them until Season 10 to make that happen.

We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.

Daddyo, GRRM is writing "Winds of Winter" as we speak also speculation he finished and its before final editing to go to print". He will in all likelihood finish "A time for Wolves" ooppss my bad "A dream of spring" in 2019 according to most sources.

The show will wind up before then but GRRM has said the show is taking different routes with his guidance to the same conclusion. Basically he is writing to stories. His world and a Alternate world. Pretty cool when you think about it.

LMAO. I like watching it, but you better take everything with a serious grain of salt D&D tend to be misleading not untruthful but not completely truthful about whats going on.

Though I have enjoyed reading the Game of Thrones facebook page its hilarious how many people are freaking out and swearing never to come back. Heck most of them said it after Red Wedding and are still watching. Its like a NASCAR Race, no one goes for the race they go for the wrecks. Lets face it this is the biggest wreck of all no man is safe.

I don't love that the show is going to over take the books. I just think it's going to have to be very different. I don't think that GRRM will really let the shows completely ruin what is going to be in the books.

For the most part this was my favorite episode of the season. yes it was predictable for for those who had read the books. I don't like the exclusion of the pink letter, or the siege of meereen but that's neither here nor their. I don't think they link Daario to the ironborn so I wonder how they will come back next season with that.

The only the that I really didn't like is that Jon's last word was "ollly" not "Ghost" seems such a simple thing, and no reason to change it, but whatever.

I saw somewhere that we should be getting Winds of Winter next summer or so? Anyone heard anything different? Who knows about A Dream of Spring.

all of this just really makes me think we are now looking at completely different stories with the same result from the show and the books like I have brought up before.

Back to Jon Snow.

He is dead.

Done Cakes and Gone.

Jon Targaryen is going to be reborn.

That's it. Kit Harrington has already had his contract renewed for season six and seven.

THIS !

I absolutely hate that the HBO stuff is going to pass up the books. It is as annoying as anything in the world and there's nothing that can be done about it. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I agree that I think he can keep his versions of reality seperate, but still.
