esox niger Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 I say its a hybrid cuz its flat and tall, where a striper would be more tube shaped, plus im looking at a broken line right now, though its only 1 sacle out of place. This is a creek off the missouri river. there's a overflow discharge pump thats been going off every 15 min for the last few weeks. all the others i catch have broken stripes and are clearly wiper. although this fish was about 5-6 inches past most of the other wiper i've ever caught patfish and Bill Butts 2 Missouriflies.com Online Carp Fly Store Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Look at the difference in the lines between the picture f&F posted and yours, especially the alternating faint and distinct lines on your fish as opposed to the all solid lines on the fish below.
