Gatorjet Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Just thinking about a lure that will quickly get to the bottom in the heavy flow now being experienced on Taney. Something heavy, compact, shad looking, and flashy........The Little George tail spinner! I know they are apt to get hung up a lot, but I have a bunch of them in my bass tackle. Thinking it being a reaction strike lure, and the water probably isn't the clearest I could get by with 6lb line, and have more chance of pulling it loose if it gets hung up. Gonna give them a try if the water is still flowing hard when I come down on the forth for a few days Just wondering if anybody has tried a Little George for Taneycomo trout. Phil, maybe throw one off the dock on the one cast. Real men go propless!
Travis Swift Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I've got some smaller spoons I'm going to try next week in that water to man, same concept guess we had the same idea in a way.
Gatorjet Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Yes, I have used Kastmasters, Mr Champs, and also Little Jake's Spin-A-Lures. Just wondering if anybody has tried that shad shaped chunk of lead with a spinner on the back. Real men go propless!
