oneshot Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Was up at our Cabin. Decided to go across the bridge on 83HWY Little Pomme Arm. Lake was all over the bottoms, could see couple Crappie Fishing out there. oneshot

navery Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 We got into some hybrids this morning. Had two nice ones come off and one broke off. The others we boated were around 4lbs. Weather was nice though. Wasn't hot at all with the wind.
shaker Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Thanks for the report naverly when the corps start pulling water across the points and humps the hybrid and white bass fishing should really pick up. Once the lake starts falling a guy can usually find some nice crappie holed up in cedars out of the current. RB
navery Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Do you have better luck on the up current or down current side of the humps and points. I don't know that I can tell a difference, but always seem to find myself in front of them and on the up current side. dtrs5kprs 1
shaker Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 About the only rule that I can say about hybrids is that they are where you find them. But like you most of the time I find them on the current side of the humps and points. Doesn't really make sense to me but it is what it is, I have found them on top, to the sides and the back side just depends of the day and the mood of the fish I guess. Probably that's where the shad are the easiest for the day? Then there are days where you wonder if there are any left in the lake? That's why they call it fishing! RB dtrs5kprs 1
