Recent Trips?

Wondering anybody had tried to battle the 46,000 cfs for any fish and what the results were if so... I have never tried been up there when that much discharge was occuring so I don't know if it is even worth a trip to try. Looks like they shut discharge back down for a day or two and plan on cranking back up again Saturday according to the forecast. Any info would be appreciated.

I always love the high water below the dam, you never know what you might catch. I have had stringers of as many as 5 different species on my stringer before. Good Luck.

That's what I always thought the more water the more better the fishing. Just take lots of jigs as you will need them!

Maybe come up and try it and let the rest of us know. Everyone just seems to want to know if the fish are biting, if it's worth the trip, if the top water bite is on, if this, if that. Every other post on here is asking for a report. How about YOU go fishing and give US a report for once! Here's the bottom line....there's fish to be caught ALL the time. Maybe if you get off your butt and go fishing instead of poking around on the internet for answers you'll catch some fish.

I catch huge hybrids there EVERYTIME I go with water running or not. They're in there. You just have to know how to catch them. Just go fishing!!!

I'm curious. In my experience they aren't up there year round. I catch them enough to satisfy my needs, but from my experience, which is not near as much as most, they are temperamental at best. Even when I am marking them up on the main lake and dangling live shad in front of them, they don't always eat. That being said, I'm always excited and eager to learn. Won't even ask your secrets for free. I would be interested in a guided bank trip if your interested?

The big ones don't bite till June. At least thats what Chi0082 said on May/13/2015 is his resent posts on profile page. "No ones catching anything big." He must have not fished the month of May.
