Checked out the Trout Cam (again) and noticed that things are starting to look much more "normal".

Now just have to figure out when I can get away!!

Wish I could make it but the DW is still recuperating from her surgery. She is very upset that we had to cancel 2 of our trips due to high water and family issues. Been grumbling about having the 5th wheel and not using it. I agree but what are you going to do? My work is a mess right now moving people around and shorting us in the Dick unit. Was "on-call" this past week and have it again this week. after that a 4 week break (I hope). Maybe sometime in there I'll be able to take off. Still hoping I can make "NoLucks" rendezvous in August.

Just remembered NL was up our way few weeks ago. Did you take him to the Kaw or Blue river trout parks??

No fishing with Noluck while he was in town but he did come over for dinner. We had a good talk and ate burgers. He said he may not be able to get time off for a big get together but we'll see. Pretty hot to be camping for us so I may get a room at sand springs for a couple of nights later this week.

Th wife and I are looking forward to a little cooler weather to camp down there. Let me know when you guys are going and maybe we can get together.

Article in springfield paper says that trout are hungry at bssp. From the looks of the skinny ones in the rearing pools, I would say that is correct.

Fished yesterday afternoon. Plenty HOTTTT! Water is slightly up and milky looking. Fishing is OK but not anything special. Fish seem a bit small.

This morning was good on black maribou jigs and also some on glowballs. Stocked a lot for a monday I thought. 1450.

When you get there Jerry get on top of the dam and wave at me!! Misread the schedule, don't have a 4 week break only 2.

From the looks of things I hopefully can pull a few days the last weekend. I think Upstream was going to be there regardless if his PW brother can't. (Threw the bait lets see how long it takes him to bite?)

I'm about as PW'd as you are an Obama fan.

As far as making it down I'm still not sure yet. Lots of hours at work lately and not much free time in the windshield that I can see.

Has anyone set a date yet???? Upstream can't remember his log in info so he is out of the loop. He suffers from CRS.
