J-Doc Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 F&F has left the forum. Or at least taking a long break from it. No one posts reports but reads all of them. Everyone wants reports, but not many report their own. Good or bad. I myself have not had much to report. I was doing great this spring and early summer but like many, this summer has been tough due to boat traffic and flooded hot water temps. When I do find fish, I get short strikes on drop shot or nibbles at best. Sometimes the bite is so subtle I just feel weight and set hook to catch them. Worm size doesn't seem to matter as I have gotten bit on tiny worms and big ones. It's time for new or existing members to post reports. The free weekly reports by F&F are no more. We can't all sit on the couch or armchair waiting on the info. So it will continue to be quiet until some lurkers start sharing. Either way, I've been busy with work and have not engaged much here. I try to check in from time to time. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Quillback Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I haven't fished Beaver in a while, probably won't get out there until the weather cools. My fishing lately has been once or twice a week over here on the Bella Vista lakes very early in the morning for a few hours. I'm hoping there's a good fall bite on Beaver.
Members bc23champ Posted August 9, 2015 Members Posted August 9, 2015 Yeah I agree need more reports good or bad. I'm new to the forum having just got my boat last month but I try to post something as small is it might be. I'm new to the area and new to beaver so I literally have zero knowledge of this lake I'll be out for the next couple days So I'll let ya know what I find or don't lol
jerry241 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I have spent the summer working my butt off and seem to have spent more time in NYC this summer than at home. However I'm really looking forward to this fall and maybe a little more no a lot more free time to spend on the water. Always found reports helpful good ones and bad so I hope people will take the time to post something.

RyanG Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Jumped on to the forum recently, but college and moving from place to place is doing a number on my fishing time. But, when the cooler weather starts getting here and I get more time on the water, I'll almost always have a report. Good or bad. This forum has helped me a ton and I owe it back. That and it's a pleasure to be able to talk fishing, I do love it. This month will be hard for me to get going but hopefully soon I'll have some words from the water.
Lance34 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 My weekly Friday fishing trips/reports pretty much shut down in June. Trashy muddy water and then the heater kicked in. I'm always a go on Friday's if it's at a more tolerable temperature. Which looking at the weather I should be able to go this Friday. My goal for the summer was to start pulling cranks (Bandits and Arkies) for crappie. It's a first for me and the first time I went out I struck out and it's been a few weeks for me to get back out to give it another shot again. That's how bad a hit or miss it's been for me this Summer. I'm planning to keep doing this method through October I guess. And hope to add reports/tips along the way. I agree with F&F on the rudeness. I don't get it and what's the point of it. I have never personally met him, but from his post and replies he's seems to be a good guy. Him especially and others have shared a lot of great information in the past that has cut my trial and error learning curve way down. I appreciate it F&F and hope to see you back active on here in the Fall.
