Members kelbrand Posted August 20, 2015 Members Posted August 20, 2015 Saw the MDOC report saying that Crappie and Bass fishing is slow. What has everyone been experiencing the last few days?
MOPanfisher Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Were I able I would be out fishing for crappie. Outflows are being stepped down, will be at 50 CFS by end of day tomorrow which should be a slow rise for lake, things may get good.
shockley32 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Fishing is great! Anywhere, anything, pitch lure and hold on!!! Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
Ketchup Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Talked to a forum member today that fished in a small tourney yesterday. He said there were LOTS of 4 and 5 pound fish caught and weighed. They fished out of Bolivar Landing and never went to far from that area. Im sure he will chime in when he sees this. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Members Cgarym7 Posted August 21, 2015 Members Posted August 21, 2015 I didn't catch many crappie on minnows but I sure caught several perch on them last Saturday. I did see a lot of shade so maybe that's why I didn't have much luck catching crappie with minnows.
oneshot Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Seen Bass feeding on Shad and plenty of New Brush so I was thinking Guy throw Spinners should catch Bass, fish around Brush catch Crappie. oneshot
