Got my old 10' 5wt back from Tom today! Had a sick mid and decided to order an extra tip section. Sage sent two tips and a new mid! Could not be happier!  My best roll cast lead chucked is back in action! Tom does great custom work as well as repairs. Great resource and a good friend.

Yeah, great guy. Tom sold me some of my first fly equipment back when he worked at the outdoors limited on Clayton road.

I remember when Tom caught his first 15-plus-inch brown from the Meramec. Much later, I had him build a 10-weight Sage for me, which I still use. Tom is truly a dedicated fly fisherman; something of a legend, I suppose. Anyone who doesn't know him should visit his shop in Manchester and shake his hand.

Everytime I visit that store and make a decent purchase they always throw in a little something extra just because. Good service and a nice couple of guys. I can only imagine the stuff they have forgotten about hidden in that basement.

Another bonus is almost always being offered a beer by someone who is sitting around the wood burning stove.  It truly is one of my favorite stops for gear even though it may be a little pricier then some other places.
