laker67 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I am thinking that if a new 24 inch limit were adopted lake wide, a lot more 20lbers would be in the till. I would agree with Phil about older and larger fish not being able to withstand the onslaught from a major flood gate event. I have only witnessed one fish in the wild, in recent years, that would push the 25lb mark. I would like to see the next state record be caught by a flyrodder. Whether it be rainbow or brown.
Travis Swift Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 If a big Brown would of been down in the gold mine or bull creek area would it of had a chance withstand that flood by chance? I know one thing, there are alot of nice browns in the lake again which bolds well for the future.
Amery Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 so maybe the big girls are at the bottom of bull shoals somewhere.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted September 3, 2015 Author Root Admin Posted September 3, 2015 Not all the big ones were killed... and they were probably down lake where it's wasn't as bad.
