Champ188 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Thanks for the report. Little C and I made it to the promised land at 0100 this morning. Trolling batteries dead but on the charger now. Hope to be on the water at 0530 in the morning. Even though a busy weekend we will be here thorough noonish Monday. We will report how we do.....ant thoughts on mixing trolling motor batteries? We have three optia blue tops (one new) and i suspect the other two need replaced? ?? Anyway,,, they have pro giude at the marina. Its killing us to loose part of the day...tight lines and be safe! Chris, you can't go wrong with ProGuide. Get the big 225 amp models. You won't be sorry. Been using them for years and they've never failed me. magicwormman 1
Quillback Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Thanks for the report! That Pond Scum Perch is a great color, one of my favorites. Some of the other jig manufacturers need to incorporate that color into their lineups. (Hint, Hint). Donna G 1
skeeter Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Chris, you can't go wrong with ProGuide. Get the big 225 amp models. You won't be sorry. Been using them for years and they've never failed me. Where's a good source for those ProGuides please ? My Interstates are four years old and getting suspect. I read big c's story about Optima's and had the Batteries Plus people in Sprgfld. warn me off of them. Seems they quit selling them before last year due to too many warranty returns and the manager told me they had moved their production out of the U.S. Batteries Plus recommended Northstar AGM which are made in Sprgfld. but the cost is $300+ per battery. Yikes ! Thanks.
