I'm a fan of the change just because it suits my fishing style a little better than in mid to late May. Only thing about early April in MO is it could be 68 degrees with a slight breeze or 34 degrees and blizzard conditions. Either way I'll be there. Some bigger weights should make their way to the scales in early April. Might see some 8+ lb'ers come in.

You are correct.  We did late March one year and the conditions were a little rough.  However the fishing was outstanding so we will see how it goes in early April.  We are looking forward to coming back.

Thanks for the feedback

I know in the past in the Oakley 1 angler can only have 3 fish in the livewell at once, they may hinder you in your Joe Bass chances.

I always enjoyed the earlier in the year tournaments.  Remember one year, it hailed right as the tournament was supposed to start.  The fishing was amazing.

The good ones can be in a bit of a funk around the middle of May for me.
