rps Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I wonder just how many will make it to keeper size or bigger? I tried walleye fishing the kimberling area this summer a bit and only got 2 fish. One was 21 or 22 inches the other was only like 15. This last summer was not representative. The majority of the fry do not make it to legal length. I do not know the TR percentage, but based on readings in the past, the TR rate is good compared to many places. What does not happen is a high survival rate from natural spawn. That is why the species is considered "put and take." oldfella 1

dtrs5kprs Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 We (AGFC) stock walleye at the Cricket Creek Access. That is interesting. Seems like the other end of the lake is where all the angler attention is focused on them.
rps Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 For a long time I have wondered if the down lake, especially the dam, might be very productive.
