Lot slower for me this morning:  went out later and only fished a couple hours.   Hooked one right off the bat that just turned downstream and kept going.  Would to have liked to have seen him, broke right at the leader tippet connection.

One guy right in the chute hooked a big one that was a standoff for about 5 min before it broke off, never saw it.  Guys seemed to be doing okay right in the outlet chute, couldn't see much else caught.

Started with #16 grey scud with #20 grey scud dropper.  Kept changing dropper out to try San Juan worm, egg and several zebra midges, but must have used all my luck up yesterday.

Wont be be back until annual trip in Feb.  if duck season wasn't starting in a couple weeks I would be back.....

We fished Saturday evening and caught a few more.  Exhaustion from the 16hr Friday night/ Saturday marathon set in around midnight and we called it quits.  Since we did not have much success Saturday morning we decided to bug out and hit Bennett Springs Sunday morning as my cousin wanted to get some meat to take home.  We also didn't see much being caught other than a few by the outlets.  Was one of the slower weekends I've seen down there, but man we saw some monsters out there Saturday night.  Saw one that had to be 25+ inches, sadly they weren't very active and we couldn't get them to budge.  Got 2 more weeks and then I get another shot at them for my last trip of the year!
