MOsmallies Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 It sounds like quite a few of the FLW guys had to resort to catching small kentuckies off the main lake dock corners but I guess even those weren't a guarantee based on the number of 1-4 fish bags. Its tough when you see a guy like Marcus Sykora not able to catch a limit 2 days in a row.
Members RogueAgent Posted October 26, 2015 Members Posted October 26, 2015 I fished Sunday from 7am until just before sundown. Mostly from dam around the island up into the Gravois to Coconuts. Used a stick bait all day until it got lodged in my finger trying to remove a runt kentucky. Caught over 40 fish, mostly short kentuckies on points, dock corners and breakwaters in the wind. Ended with four keeper kentuckies that might have weighed 8lbs total, a 20 inch walleye, 4 white bass and two huge crappie. I love this lake, you never know what's going to bite next. Ham 1

nomolites Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 But all the local sticks were not shut out; the jig fisherman were. Very unusual to be sure. I say the stickbait was a key for #2 regardless of reporting.... Mike
