Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 28, 2015 Root Admin Posted October 28, 2015 Well, I limped through another upgrade with a little trouble. I needed to upgrade because of the changes I'm making to the Content portion of the site. But from what I've seen, New Content has been replaced by Unread Content which you can edit the settings BUT it's not showing what I want so far. awhuber 1
rps Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 I opened the unread stream and clicked the "Edit this stream." I changed the settings to a specific number of days (1) and changed the content shown to include replies and such. Much more manageable.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 28, 2015 Author Root Admin Posted October 28, 2015 Yea- it's working for me now. I thought this would be a small, unnoticeable upgrade. This is pretty radical!
moguy1973 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 It's....different. Going to take some getting used to this one. Phil Lilley 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Yeah I'm not liking this one. But if it you need it that way then I'm all for it and will get used to it at some point.
ness Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 I'm getting goofy results when I filter. Can't find topics I follow, started or posted in. John

ness Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Yeah -- I did that. Can't get it to filter to content I follow, etc. John

moguy1973 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 I created my own "stream" that filters only new topics and replies from my last visit. Click on the Activity tab at the top, then My Activity Streams, then Create New Stream, then I picked what I wanted to see and saved it. Then when you click on that stream, there is a check mark next to the stream name and if you check it, it becomes your default stream and puts a link to it up in the upper right corner where the old Recent Topics used to be. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
