Quillback Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Fished with board member Huntest today and we had to work hard to get just a few fish. We caught 10 or so between us with 5 - 6 keepers. 4 or 5 of the keepers were smallmouth, biggest was a 3.25 that ate a Whopper Plopper. Had one keeper spot. Caught a few on the Plopper, some Ned fish and a few on 3XD and Wiggle Wart cranks. Could not find the spots or the largemouth. The smallmouth we caught were scattered, points, shallows up by buck brush, and chunk rock banks. Water temp is around 66. Donna G, dan hufferd and huntest 3

m&m Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Quill nice report. I'm still waiting for my first Amalie on a WP. Sounds like yours was a nice keeper. Mike
Champ188 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I've fished with both of you guys. You're good folks and glad you had a fun day together. I'm also secretly glad they didn't bite too well today, coz that MAY mean they're gonna munch tomorrow when I'm out there. Quillback and huntest 2
176champion Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Thanks for the report...Me and my champ may head that way Friday or Saturday (big M that is) My new WP wont be in yet though. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
