Even with only 45 minutes to fish and no boat (photo) . . .

couldn't resist riding along with my wife on a short trip from our home in Springfield to Kimberling City yesterday . . . no boat, just threw a couof the vehicle and off we went . . . she dropped me off at a boat ramp in the Kimberling City area while she ran her errand . . . I only had about 45 minutes . . . I walked the windiest bank I could find casting up ahead and parallel to the bank using the WP perch-color 130 with a steady medium/fast retrieve . . . BINGO! I managed to bring this guy in with a number of his buddies following him all the way to the bank . . . the WP continues to amaze me:)

Very nice!  Love when a quick trip produces like that.  Great job!

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Nice fish. I'm gonna remember to keep a rod and reel with me when I accompany my wife on errands. I usually go with her. Never thought about letting her run an errand and I would fish. And she said yes when you asked her to drop you at the ramp?  HMMM.... I need to know your secret on that conversation. That is as valuable as your fishing report.
