fishinwrench Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Yeah that jumped out at me, sounds like something a biologist would say. But still I wanna hear Ron's reply so I'll know if Whiting's are what flip my Humpy's upside down. ness 1
DaddyO Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 You guys crack me up. Ron, Thank you for sharing your information on your tying methodology as well as your opinion on hackle providers. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
Gavin Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Nice Humpy's. Jerry Jarosik is/was? the Master of that pattern and he taught me to tie it. Still have a couple dozen of his Humpy's and Beetles but they only get fished to a picky riser.
rFisherk Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 Jerry used to tie some flies for me way back when I was managing the hunting and fishing departments of Outdoors Inc. Jerry was a master of fly tying--period. Gavin 1
