Beaver Fishing Report

We launched out of HC & fished from point 12 to HSB. Water stained to clear 53-56 degrees. Rained hard all day but they kicked the generators on at 10am when we launched. I stayed on the river channel all day. bluff ends, cuts, transition banks, etc. Fish were scatterd from 5-15ft deep. 

Rock crawler, wart & Ned brought 33 aboard the Basscat. 

You could walk across all the shad at Edens Bluff

Good report, how do you keep count of all those fish ? Clicker?  Any monsters today ?

All small kentuckies, I caught 23 & my dad caught 10. 

My best 5 fish limit was a whopping 5lbs. Not gonna win any tournaments.

Well with the new regs in effect on Beaver, you can say, with 100% honesty, that you caught 33 keepers.

Water level is 1124 and still rising, must of been a lot of water dumped into the tribs.

The rivers got to floodstage last night. I would imagine 1125 is on the horizon.

Usually, I try to take home a few small kentuckies for dinner, but I only had 4 big enough to fillet yesterday so I threw them back. My 3 year old was real disappointed when I came home empty handed. So, next trip Im going after crappie.
