Fishrman Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Fished 4 out of last 5 days and all I can say is I'm terrible. Did not fish Sunday. Fished shell knob to kings to Campbell point and could not get on anything. Caught 4 keepers in 4 days. A few on jerk, rk and shaky head nothing on swim bait or a rig. Just could not get on anything. Water temp was 54-55.
Quillback Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I have found the hard plastic bite to be really tough in the White channel. I lost a good fish on a jerk bait, and had a couple of dinks on cranks, but that has been it. I'll try the hard plastics for a while, but if they aren't working for me I put them down and pick up the Ned and t-rigged tube.
Alex Heitman Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I fished this afternoon in the wind and caught 3 dinks. Brutal right now
Moswimb8slinger Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 I've caught several keepers up to 17.5 inches lately but haven't found the bigger ones yet like I had this time last year on the swimbaits. Had a decent wiggle wart afternoon, last week, but that bite disappeared for me. So I went back to catching on the big hardbaits (Spro BBZ1, S-waver)
Bill Babler Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Last day I fished was Monday. Couple of tips that may work. Crank bite at Campbell Pt. Daylight to 8 AM. Flat gravel pts. Boat in 15 ft. As soon as any wind. Same type of locations with pole timber or cedars A-Rig. Throw it where you are lucky to get it back. Jerk bait same locations. You don't get hung up 30% of the time your not going to do as well. Nice SM in those shallow gravel trees but you got to have wind and throw it in there tight. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
