Yeah I looked at tomorrow's high of 29 degrees.

Nope, I'll stay home.  I can tough the cold.  I just prefer not too.  Especially if it's not even sunny.  Smallmouth might get up on a flat in sunny weather with a little wind. That could be fun but.....cloudy and cold, no thanks.  I can tough it out, I just don't think it would be productive enough to justify the effort.

I'm watching football tomorrow.  I might tinker with some tackle, but that's as close to fishing as I'll get.

Wind chills between 3 and 13 tomorrow.

I don't even want to get out of the house!! But I have to work so I'll catch up on work where it's warm inside.

There is an area you can try if you're desperate to get on the lake and fish for the open water species.  The mudline is close to the Larue Peninsula but water starts clearing just to the east of Larue. I found bait balls and suspended fish in that area and even managed to catch a couple of nice sized white bass in a couple hours of fishing Friday morning before the cold front.  Nothing to write home about but did see a fair amount of fish on the graph.  I'll probably try it again late in the week after the worst of the cold spell is over.

I found the same thing in that area around LaRue last Sunday. Water was stained & 51 degrees. Found the schools of bait with a few stripers on the side imager. 15-20ft down in 70 fow

Water is not nearly cold enough for that. Even if it did, it would not be very thick.  Water is still in the 40's for the most part.
