WHARFRAT Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Looks like they're dropping the lake now. Down about a foot since the weekend. @lozcrappie

Thanks Try to find the clearest water possible. If you can run to or put in on the Niangua arm, I've been hearing that has the most normal winter clarity. Jerkbaits, Jig, A-Rig on steeper channel banks. Maybe a wiggle wart if the temps are over 40.

You're the Jigkid, so I guess throw A JIG. I'd work over a few mouths of coves, and if nothing happens....head up the Niangua. 96 CHAMP and marcus 2
Bass Enforcer Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 It was tough out there. Not knowing lake of the ozarks makes it that much tougher on a day like we had. Some people say when u get a beautiful day like we had Saturday in the winter times equals a tough day at LOZ. We caught only one. Went with a plan of throwing the jerk bait or a rig but the water was to dirty for the jerk bait for me to have any confidence. I threw the a rig some but probably not enough.
WeekendWarrior Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Fished Saturday myself after putting out some piles we ran to the gravois and we never had a bite. So instead of fishing today made some more piles. MOsmallies, *T* and marcus 3
moguy1973 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Those branches buoyant enough to keep upright when you dump them overboard? -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
