Since the green fish didn't cooperate with me, I been thinking about jigging a spoon for white fish and toothy critters.  Have any of you been doing that?  I have a few places that produced the last time I did that but it has been over a year.  If some one can give me an approximate depth I'd be very appreciative.

I have done it but not this late in the winter, it worked well on Table Rock in the fall, and I have caught some walleye on Stockton in the fall. I was using a 1/2 oz basspro jiggy twitch it spoon in about 30 or so feet of water. See my video below

A week ago at Stockton my wife caught a white bass in 70 FOW on a gold 5/8 lipless crank bait it was 45 ft down !

Good luck

I fished a bit Saturday.  Around state park.  I mainly was breaking in motor

5 Shallow secondaries netted me a blank.       I  moved out to middle of main lake and. Dropped consintly  to fish at 34 feet and  lots of them.   Blanked again.     Several fish  suspended from 8.5 to 18 around shad   But bigger fish were at 34

Thanks for the tips guys.  However my fishing partner is more interested in the Rock so I guess we'll hit it Friday instead of Stockton.

Bob I've caught a lot of eyes out of Hartley but I can't remember even 1 from Googer.  I'll have to try it some time.

Sometimes fishing is so random. I've fished Stockton for one extended trip and I've caught multiple walleye out of Googer. Beginner's luck is a good thing.
