Haven't been out but was at Wheatland ramp yesterday and water was really dirty less than a foot of visibility. A lot of that was from the waves pounding in. I'm planning on going out but probably not until next week so let us know how you do.

In regards to the water  it is very stained to even muddy looking.  Have not seen anyone fishing the lower end, not sure how far up the stain goes, was up around bolivar landing last week and it was still stained but much less so.  The cold water just isn't settling out very fast, maybe when we shut down outflow this Friday to 500, and on down to minimums next week it will settle out quicker, just don't know.

If everything goes as planned I will go out this afternoon or tomorrow to try for some bass and maybe some crappie if I make it out I will let you know what the water and fishing was like for me.

I went out around noon yesterday till 3 water clarity sucks pretty much less than a foot everywhere I went. Fished the Pomme arm from Wheatland area to just past 83 Marina water temp was 43 in coves and 40 on main lake. The wind was terrible. I fished jerk baits and A rig never caught a bass and only managed 1 crappie but couldn't fish the piles I wanted to because of the wind. Good luck to all think I will try again Saturday when the wind isn't so bad.

It's been tough. The wind was relentless yesterday, especially for us guys in aluminum boats.  We're not far away from the start of better catching.  The "fishing" part is always good. ?
