Water Clarity - Mid & Lower Glaize

Does anyone know if the lower and mid stretches of the Glaize are clearing up yet?

A little bit, but the heavy brown stain is permanent.  It's going to take alot of clearer inflow to dilute it.

Everybody should know by now to just plan on heavily stained cold water on the lower end. Things haven't changed one bit over the last month.

I fished the Glaize today with fair success.  Caught several dinks and three keepers, including a 21 1/2" six pounder.  Also caught a half dozen drum on the bass jig.  Water was dirty but fishable just past the military recreation complex.  That same area was producing crappie as well.

the gravois got  worse in the mid sections last two days. Its cold also 41 degrees on my depth finder yeasterday.

Anyone been into Linn Creek lately?

I was by there yesterday but did not go in Linn creek, water around house at 28 mm now has a green tint instead of the brown so I would think linn creek should be clearing off nicely as well. As for the fishing we stunk it up yesterday with only 2 small keepers, water temps are rising nicely with 45-46 around hwy 5 bridge in Niangua and 50-51 by Larry Gale ramp

Put in at Gale about noon and stayed within a few miles of ramp. Fished 3,5 hrs. 4 keepers for 13..4 lbs on A rig plus  a few shorts.  49.5 deg, all on main lake chuck rock pts with wind. Nada on  jerk baits or warts. Nice day. Do it again  tomorrow.
