I started out striper fishing this morning around 11 am till 1:30 or so. I never could find them, so I thought I'd try some bass fishing.  I must have bass fished 2-2 1/2 hrs.  And managed to catch 5 bass.  Id say around 4-430 I tried some more striper fishing and zeroed again.   It was getting pretty dark by the time I started to head out and on the way I seen a couple of ripples on the surface. I threw a shallow running crank and caught a white.  Pretty much just junk fished today.  Water temps r warming, I seen 50 water but most was 48-49.  Maybe this coming rain will bump it up a little more.  Here's a couple of pics

Good job, Dan. Lots of guys would've been happy to have those bass Saturday in the Everett derby.

Quill, I totally agree, that one in the pic was just full of eggs.   Must have weighed 2 pounds.  I'm sure there's more ready to spawn. Just need to wait for the water to warm a bit.

You couldn't tell by the schooling, I have not hit a big school this year at all. They seem to be scattered out, one here, two there.

Nice days work Dan.  I was out yesterday between PC and the bridge with a big zero. Hey that's fairly clear water in the pic. Are you upstream of M.N.? I'm tired of fishing in a mud puddle but don't know if I should go up or down.

I just seen a few blow ups and stopped.  No huge school.  I hope to find one this spring.
