Harps Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Rod sold on Ebay, thanks for looking. Megabass Shiryu Tomahawk F4-610GT3 This rod is in in mint, un-fished condition. This is a 1-piece 6-foot, 10-inch bait-casting rod. This is a serious rod for tournament-type anglers, and I'm just not that serious so it needs to be in the hands of someone who is. Those who like these rods covet them and they typically sell for $400-$500. It really is an exquisite piece of gear. Offering it here for $350, I'll pick up the shipping. PM if interested, thanks. This site has a lot of specs on the rod if you want more details: http://www.tackletour.com/reviewmbshiryu610.html
Sore Thumbs Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 If that's a one price rod then they built the top half upside down. Half the eyelets are up the other half down. Pat Magee 1
rps Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 aka spiral wrap or acid wrap. The ones I make are done that way. Stripper guide on top, running guides underneath, and one or two bumper guides to make the transition. Real advantages to the arrangement, but looks weird.

Unimog Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 It should be more common than it is to eliminate line touching the blank and twisting of the blank. I think quantum had a Gary Klein flipping rod with revolving guides but very few mainstream offerings.
