1969Larson Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Surely somebody is wondering what the water looks like at Twin Bridges and War Eagle. Here you go. Saw a walleye and some white bass caught at TB. No action at Two-dollar hole but the water looked great. Yes, there is still access there. The pay box is now right at the gate to the pasture. zarraspook and Quillback 2
Dan the fisherman Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Was there a huge crowd at TB? I kinda want to take the kayak up there and fish. I haven't been up that far in a while
1969Larson Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 Not bad at all. I heard a few folks say that had done a great float from TB to Neil's Bluff on Saturday and slayed them... Black bass, white bass, crappie, walleye, and one striper mixed in.
Members LanceB Posted March 7, 2016 Members Posted March 7, 2016 How does the pay box at WE work? I was out there and the gate was closed. Never been out there and didnt want to trespass... Also, how do you access those shoals at TB? Thanks!
Dan the fisherman Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 just put 3 bucks in the box, open gate drive through and close gate. drive down and fish. They run it on a honor system I think cuz I've never see them checking the gate.

Maybe a nice, easy 3 hour deal, unless you really get into a school and stop to fish more. Of course, if we get all the rain we're supposed to, and The White River decides to remind us how persnickety she can sometimes be - might just take 20 minutes Dan the fisherman and Champ188 2

There is a trail that goes off along the edge of the field, through the woods, and comes out on the shoals right where Richland Creek joins the White. If you don't see the trail, ask dude selling crawdads.
Dan the fisherman Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Thank Jolicious, I really hope we don't get flooded again.
