I guess they are preparing for a sprinkling, I see Ameren is dropping the lake closer to 653.

Lake is just getting back to normal so I hope we get some rain but not 5 inches of rain. A warm rain will really accelerate everything and make fishing really good especially followed up with sunny temps in 70s the following week.

still below 653 as of this morning.  Not sure if I'll be able to get my lift down.  I had 5 1/2' last weekend.  I'm not sure if I can lower in 3 1/2 ft.  I'd sure like to see it go up at least a foot today!

I am in same boat, back of dock sitting high and dry and not wanting to chance screwing up my old galvanized lift

The crew at Ameren are rediculis.  What are they drawing it down so far for?  We get one flood and now they grossly over-react upon every weather forecast.

Maintainng a reasonable pool level used to be no problem at all, but now it seems to be nearly impossible for them.  WtF?

I wouldn't want their job, but they can't keep getting it wrong like this. Not letting out water when they should, and letting out water when they shouldn't. I can honestly say that because of Ameren I would never consider owning waterfront property at LOZ.

One good thing with lake down is seeing all the transition rock that is exposed (if you can get your boat off lift) ?

I have to take my boat off the lift every winter as it becomes to shallow to be useable, and now with the lake so low it's difficult to find a nearby ramp to use. On the plus side it seems we've had the best Feb.-March fishing I can remember.

Fishing has been pretty good, will be interesting to see BFL weight this weekend
