mixermarkb Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 I'm thinking it would concentrate the wakeboard boats and jet skis all in one place- wouldn't have fishermen eating there, we are too tight with a buck as a rule, but it would make some coin!

Smalls21 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 i may have to research my idea a little more to see what it would take to make it happen mixermarkb 1

Members JWT Posted March 9, 2016 Members Posted March 9, 2016 I always thought it would be cool to equip a pontoon for crappie fishing when it's cold out.. Enclosed and heated. Open in the bottom for parking over structure. I'm sure it's been done here, but have never seen it. Some folks would surely pay to do that..

Just need a 70 inch flat screen, satellite, a weber and some brews and you're in business. If you make one count me in. big c 1

You got it, although I have a hard enough time getting out for long enough. If I was warm, drinking, and watching tv, I could get into serious trouble with the Mrs. ? I would say on TR, but where do you find crappie?!?! I maintain that the best crappie fishing is under the big commercial docks, in someone else's hanging brush.... Shhh!
Members two old poops fishing Posted March 10, 2016 Members Posted March 10, 2016 had a resort on Toledo bend for a few years brother and I we rented a 18 foot pontoon with a house type structure on it that was heated and cooled all the luxurys of home would go out two nights before for yhe clients and put out five gallon buckets of pogey meal tied to trees about twenty feet apart then take the clients out tie up each end to a tree pull up the floor like the cover of a baptismal hang some lanters and wail on the crappie would not be uncommon to catck 3 or 4 HUNDRED yep that is HUNDRED a night ice them down throw them in the fish cleaning machine and do it again the next night JWT and DChance 2 two old poops fishing
Unimog Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Id never seen the amount of fish get cleaned as the holly park fish cleaning station on Toledo bend. They'd haul tubs and tubs of fish guts out of there every day mostly bass and crappie.
