A buddy and ai came down this morning and decided to try stockton since we had never been there before.  We put in at Aldritch and ran to where we could just see taylor bridge and fished our way back up the river. We kept 10 nice male whites and 1 decent crappie. We caught a bunch of tiny 6-8" whites and largemouth as well. Glad the storms missed us on the water but we had to drive in to them on our way back to Springfield. It was wicked!

I really thought that rain would flood everything for a while. Barely effected the levels. Trees probably soaked up alot of it. We got hammered here in Springfield. Getting home was tricky. Cars were floating down streets!

You guys should check out Stockton lake posts. Someone caught a 33" musky in this same spot. Crazyness!

The rain in Spfld all went south of the divide, toward the white river system.

My dad drove to river today on the way to our hunting property.  He said it was muddy but not up to bad. He didn't fish but said there was a few fishermen on the banks. Muddy water warms faster but makes for tough fishing if to muddy. Hopefully she'll be cleared up by Friday. We're Headed down to try it out.

It was bad muddy. I only saw one white caught in six hours.  Debris everywhere and age was moving fast. It dis drop over a foot in those six hours. I think if we don't get too much rain it'll be fine by next week. I'll post a picture if I can. Muddy
