Gosh, don't stop any fish pictures. Keeps me motivated. After my 3rd skunk earlier, my wife asked if I had really been fishin'. Good discussion is never bad either.

bluebasser86 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I only get to fish Beaver about once a year but appreciate all the information that is posted on here. Part of the experience to me is finding my own fish. I learned enough just from reading and trying to get an idea of the types of areas the fish on the lake like that I've been able to catch at least a few stripers every time I've been along with some nice bass up to 6 1/4 pounds. It takes a lot of work to find fish on a big lake like that, especially when there's so much water without any fish. I certainly wouldn't expect someone to just hand all that hard work over to me. One thing I've learned from posting on forums quite a bit, if you participate and share what you do know (even if it's where they aren't and what they're not biting on), people will appreciate it and learn to trust you more. That's how guys like the OP get to follow someone to their spot and catch a fish like that, putting in the effort to participate and share information. Some of the best information you can give someone is the kind that saves them from driving to an area where the fishing is off or the conditions suck. Then you just have to keep at it and eventually, the pieces will start to fall into place. Dan the fisherman 1
chi0082 Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Don't stop posting pics of fishes Stump. We like to see someone catching fish. Sometimes I fish beaver thinking no more fish are in there and come back on here just to find out they are by seeing your catches. You do a great job of giving us useful info to help the rest of us become succesful on the water. Don't stop doing what you do. My point was that people shouldn't expect a fisherman to have to give up any info on where he caught his fish. It should be at the descretion of the fisherman. Blll 1
Members 6.5BR Posted March 17, 2016 Members Posted March 17, 2016 Nice thread. I am currently living in the Shreveport, LA area, been to the Northwest Arkansas area dozens of times visiting a college buddy, enjoying fishing, hiking, canoeing, etc. I hope to be back in about 2 weeks to do a little job hunting, and definitely some fishing. My goal is to land a decent career in the Rogers/Bentonville area and move there in the coming months. My background is heavy in the Healthcare industry (Marketing/Sales) and I earned/completed my Executive track MBA in 2014. If anyone has any job leads, please feel free to contact me. My email is cliffcasino1@hotmail.com - No I do not gamble but we have many casino's here in town. I can forward a resume etc to you or anyone you might know. Lastly, my passion in my spare time is the great outdoors and I dearly love the area. I love to use ultra-light tackle as much as possible, and if I move in that direction, might take up fly-fishing. I have fished Twin Bridges, stream below Beaver Dam, and a few small lakes around the area. I would be happy to try meeting up with some folks who live in the Rogers area. I have friends in Fayetteville, Rogers, and Bella Vista. I do have a long-standing connection with Arkansas, I won the Jr. World Champion Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart, Ar when I was 13. Just a few years ago It looks like a bunch of good folks on this forum. I have spent a lot of time on the 24hourcampfire site....where I have nearly 13k posts. I plan to fish/hunt more than post on forums going forward, but feel this might be forum I frequent often going forward if I move up there given the fishing opportunities. Thanks for reading folks, and Good Fishing! Cliff Blll 1
