Bitethis Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Just wanted to see if anyone has fished with the new Berkley hard baits (Wild thang, warpig, digger, etc.), and can give report on them? Do they run true, do they catch fish, do they seem well built, etc. Price point is nice at $7, and they look pretty...
STLbassbuster Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I have 4 of them and have thrown them a few times. They seem to be flying off the shelves but it is a new line of baits..... they seem to run true out of the package. No fish on them yet but again I have not thrown them much.
rps Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I have fished a Wild Thang. If I slowed down it ran true and was, in fact, a seeker. I took a nice fish and a short on it. The next time I am out I will try a second one. For me, the jury is still out, but, so far, so good. dan hufferd 1
dan hufferd Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 I like the war pig and have caught walleye on it, also the cutter 90 and 110 jerk baits seem to work very well but I have not hooked any thing with them as of yet. Howdy RPS hope you did some winter fishing and had better luck than I did. I have been working my hinder parts off here lately. I and the wife still found time to do some small unprosperous fishing trips but it good to spend time together It's good to see a post from you. rps 1
moguy1973 Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 I bought a couple cutters and a wild thing and square bill. They sure are good looking baits but I haven't had a chance to throw them yet. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
