I carried two cans of gas down to the boat today (HI Marina is NOT open yet) and then fished for three hours between HI and Eagle Rock.

Water temps were 48 to 50.

Because of the wind I fished only in East-West creeks. I managed three fish, none worthy of a picture. One came on a Ned and two attacked a rock crawler. Unless someone gives me a 21' Boston Whaler, I don't think I will go out tomorrow even though it is my Spring Break week.

A Boston Whaler would be a good joice in the wind,I have owned a 13 ft whaler for 35 years. What a boat

When I was young my lawyer father had a client - your basic Oklahoma oil and gas/salesman named Gordon Sams. One of his many different endeavors was a marina/boat dealership at Grand Lake. He is the person who sold my father a Mark Twain ski boat and who first introduced me to Boston Whalers. Despite all logic, I have wanted one ever since then.

I will brave it tomorrow. I have a lot of faith in my Ranger.

You just want to fish spinnerbaits on windy points.

I have a lot of faith in my Champion too but i dont have enough trolling motor to go against heavy winds.

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!
