Ryan Walker Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Let us know, I plan on being there first light tomorrow.
Members Chris Musick Posted March 31, 2016 Author Members Posted March 31, 2016 Didn't get to go, wife had to go do something w her family so I was on babysitter duty. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up. I was antsy and ready to try to tear em up. I'm sure the river is too high and quick now.
Flysmallie Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 . I'm sure the river is too high and quick now. 1,880 cfs and still climbing.
Members Chris Musick Posted March 31, 2016 Author Members Posted March 31, 2016 1,880 cfs and still climbing. I heard it'll peak about 3am tonight and won't go down until like Monday or Tuesday.
Flysmallie Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Looks like it's starting to make the turn to level out but it's already climbed to 2,270.
Members Chris Musick Posted March 31, 2016 Author Members Posted March 31, 2016 So with all of that being said, if I went to McCord or Taylor around 6 am, would I be able to catch any whites or walleyes? No boat BTW. Or would I fair better at my crappie dock in shell knob?
Members jcioni Posted April 1, 2016 Members Posted April 1, 2016 I went crappie fishing Monday near point 15 & had 10 keepers. Caught them on Chartres jig, boil in standing timber & stickups in coves.
Ryan Walker Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I went to Blunk today, just to look. Walked up to taylor. High but not unfishable. Pea green. Monday should be good...
