merc1997 Bo Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 put the boat in right 7:30pm and had it back on the trailer just after 1am. probably was not the best night to pick to fish because of being dark and rainy all day, but my long buddy dale and i decided to give it a shot. it was around 8:45 before we even got a bite, but kept moving around and used the first bite to help us clue in where to be for what few bites there were. had six keepers before 12:30, and got three more just before we quit. we had 4 k's all 16 to 16 1/2 inches, and 5 blacks with 3 of them 3 +'s. weight of best 5, 14+. areas that all the bass came from was main lake bluffs that had a tapered ledge out to 12 to 15 feet, and then went off fairly vertically. all the bites came right at the edge of the ledge. three of the keeps came on a 1/4 hair jig, and the other six on a 3/8 skirted jig. caught 3 shorts. even though bites were kind of few and far between and it took a while to figure out where to be fishing to get the few we did, it was not too bad of a trip. water temp was 54. bo Muddy Water, Hammer time, abkeenan and 1 other 4

Hammer time Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Thanks for report, won't be long and I'll be night fishing. If water maintains some color should be awesome night fishing when temp hit upper 50's and 60 plus.
