Hojo Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Getting out this weekend. Has anybody heard the river conditions from Deep Ford down to Pineville? Logjams, etc?
jtram Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I haven't been on Big Sugar, but I was on a different trib yesterday and the fishing was INSANE. Have fun.
Hojo Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 how was your water level and river conditions on the tributary?
jtram Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Water was a little low but had a decent flow. Clarity was about normal for this time of year. B.S. should be super clear as always. 90% of my fish came from cover at the top to middle of pools. dan hufferd 1
dan hufferd Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 jtram,I used to fish that area, and many surrounding creeks, that pattern is always the same. Indian creek from Boulder city to McNatt was good fishing, not good floating. Little Sugar was good in spots too. There should be some mushrooms on the banks by now. jtram 1
jtram Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 The sections you speak of.......... don't exist Chief Grey Bear, Buzz and ollie 3
Hojo Posted April 5, 2016 Author Posted April 5, 2016 Hit the river on Sunday. Beautiful day. Water was a bit low but super clear. LOTS of lays owns but only a couple places we had to get out and walk around. Fishing was good not great but man what a pretty day to be out.
ollie Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Dude, Jtram was being sarcastic. Those of us who live around here know of the creeks, we just don't advertise the small tribs. jtram and Chief Grey Bear 2 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
