Looking at the weather and hearing what I've heard about the whites, walleye and crappie on upper Bull, we struck out this morning at 5:30 am and headed to Shadow Rock Park below Powersite.  Put the boat in right at daylight and went up in Swan Creek where I've been told there are a few white bass.  I elected to fish the first bend instead of going on up because I thought the cool night would have moved the whites back out.  I may or may not have been right.  They may have been where I was fishing but they weren't interested.  But the carp were excited to see the sunrise... they were jumping all over the place.

Boated down to Barker and tried my white/crappie spots - nothing.

Boated on down to Beaver Creek where I got a hot crappie report.  Graphed fish all over the place but couldn't get bit.  Crazy fish.

Boated back up to Powersite Dam and there we caught 3 short eyes and 3 white bass on stick baits.  Buy wading off the bank was catching whites on what looked like to be a white rooster tail.  Wasn't letting it sink and was reeling faster than I thought he ought to but... he was catching and we weren't.  Fish came off the bank opposite of Forsyth down where you'd park now.  The bank has REALLY changed on both sides of the lake.
