twain turkeys

so dose anyone hunt the c.o.e property at twain iv heard theres alot of birds up there? i hunted it opening week like 5 yrs ago and didnt do to well. wonder what the turkey population is like there compared to a place like table rock

Can't tell you much about Turkeys but twice I've seen someone with some deer in their boats at the place I stayed at. I'm pretty sure they got them from coe land.

Used to hunt up there when I was younger; have taken a number of birds from COE ground on N side of lake W of  Spalding use area around Little Indian.  There are a lot of birds but also hunters-scouting with that in mind makes a difference; I always found the best way was to come in from the lake...

Don't think so.  Ray Behrens and Indian Creek have camping and boat ramps in the area I used to hunt.

Guys, not to rain on the parade, I have hunted this area since 1986. I stopped two years ago... for a funeral...

I still hunt the area, but not coe this was a really bad deal... now a few miles south with very controlled access...

but local pressure is down on coe....
