Johnsfolly Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I have had good luck with Shimano and Plueger president reels. I'm a 95%+ wade fisherman and have had both brand of reels last a fairly long time after being in water, sand, thrown on gravel bars, etc.
Members Wes Smith Posted April 14, 2016 Author Members Posted April 14, 2016 I have used the pflueger reels and have liked them. It seems that most people prefer those or shimano reels, but I am also leaning towards the lews reels since they are made locally.
