bkbying89 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 With the drug problem as bad as it is I was wondering how many of us conceal and carry? I wander along small creeks and such and sometimes come across camp fire signs and I have had the feeling that I was being watched. I don't think I am a paranoid person but in today's world, you can't help but wonder. Should I be more concerned?
Flysmallie Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Yep the needles are getting bad. My office is downtown Springburg and I used to find one every couple of years, now it's 2 or 3 a year along with all the beer cans, whiskey bottles, condoms, panties...................

Members Parkerhollow Posted May 2, 2016 Author Members Posted May 2, 2016 I think most folks on the river are armed one way or another. Some are worried about two legged predators, others are just in the habit of bringing something along whenever they go into the backcountry. Hard to remember a time when I went into the woods or on the river without at least a .22. You never know when you might have to dispatch a rabid creek chub. never had a problem on the river itself, everyone seems to be a friend, just a few suspect individuals at the access points over the years.
