I don't know why anyone would leave anything of value on a dock!!

I guess I'm just an idiot!! Thanks, makes me feel much better. I should probably trailer my boat from now on cause that has the most value of all "on a dock.':(

No man...didn't mean it directly towards you. Growing up around lake of the ozarks, stories of fishing stuff being stolen was a commen deal. For that reason, I have always kept my boat on the trailer when staying on the water.

I hate hearing about anyone getting anything stolen..and didn't mean to offend you with my post.

Not offended at all.

On an actual fishing note. A friend went with me Sunday night and brought extra poles and tackle for me to use and we went out at night again with the same combo of lights at the same place. I looked real close at the radar and studied it intensely  deciding that all the flood and severe storm warnings were "wrong". This time they were wrong. Drizzled a little here and there, light breezes but not windy and not a single other soul out there fishing but us.  It was total peace. This time we had all sizes of shad around the lights from the tiny cloud that we had on our last trip to gizzards, and nice threads. The fish didn't want anything bigger then an inch long. Three 5" shad sat at different depths until they turned stiff.  Caught all the fish on Bobby Garlands Lil Bits or something like that and the tiny live shad. And I'm talking tiny!!! Fishing wasn't that hot or anything but fun and relaxing. Brought home 6 whites, 5 black and white crappie, and two walleye and split the fish with friend.

Tried blackening the whites on cast iron on the grill and they were great. If my wife eats it I know I did it right.

We'll definitely keep an eye out. Try contacting local pawn shops for any fishing gear brought in recently and also search craigslist. Hope you get something back.

Getting back to white lights or green, if you are making your own you don't have to choose. If you go to superbrightleds.com or look for them on Amazon you can get lights that have a switch that can change the color of the lights while in the water. Wish I would have noticed that before I made mine, next time I make one.

I wonder if you had one off the back and one off the front and a Disco Ball in between....? Going to get down tonight.......
