Members Parkerhollow Posted May 7, 2016 Members Posted May 7, 2016 Caught this guy out of a pool below river round today. There was an immature bald eagle fishing that hole when I got there, think these look like talon marks? "Floaters make it hard to fish but sometimes they improve the scenery..."
Mitch f Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Maybe, I've never really seen one torn up on the bottom like that, except near the tail during spawn. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Old plug Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I would about bet on the Eagle. Top one looks like a talon cut. I have seem them in a small dogs back, They are more knife like than pointed.
Hog Wally Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 The bald eagles and Ospreys could have a field day with the fish in a foot of water right now. Mitch f, Smallieguy87 and Parkerhollow 3
Members carptracker Posted May 11, 2016 Members Posted May 11, 2016 Was out Sunday afternoon, upstream from the Huzzah, a mature bald eagle flew over tree top high, turned around was coming back towards us and dived down to the water. His talons hit the water but came up empty...his luck was the same as mine. Tough day of fishing but that was a neat sight. Smalliebigs 1
